NATO STRATCOM COE, in cooperation with the Ministry of Georgia for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, and The NATO-Georgia Professional Development Programme, organised a seminar on Strategic Communications that took place in Tbilisi, Georgia, from 22nd to 25th July.
More than 30 civil servants from different ministries and organisations participated in discussions concerning the importance of strategic communications, improved cross-government co-ordination and specific elements of StratCom. Some of the most pressing challenges facing the Georgian government were also addressed.
The objective of the seminar was to enhance understanding and improve the application of strategic communications as well as to provide practical training in the area of StratCom, Public Affairs and Public Diplomacy.
