We kindly invite you to our online conversation "Introducing Riga StratCom Dialogue 2021" with organizers of the event Guna Šnore and Jānis Sārts.

In this weeks StratCom Talks we are preparing the ground for our flagship annual event, the Riga StratCom Dialogue which takes place next week on 6 and 7 May.

Some of the most significant themes that will be discussed in more depth by selected Ministers, high level experts and academics at the event are touched on here, including:

➡️ How did the Covid-19 pandemic, which started off as a public health crisis, transform into a chimera of disinformation and multiple global stakeholders taking steps to leverage vaccine diplomacy for political currency on the international stage?

➡️ The transatlantic alliance is back in the spotlight, but what impact will efforts to communicate a positive message regarding this most fundamental of relationships have on attitudes towards democracy and the rule of law, particularly within the cognitive dimension?

➡️ Societal freedoms and the necessity of regulation via online platforms.

Speakers: Guna Šnore (Senior Expert, NATO StratCom COE), Jānis Sārts (Director, NATO StratCom COE)
Moderator: Linda Curika (Communications officer, NATO StratCom COE)
