The discussion was held under Chatham House rules, and was attended by researchers, representatives of governmental structures, and mass media from NATO countries.

On 17 April the experts met for a round-table discussion on how NATO as an organization and its member states can protect themselves against subversive leverage.

The events gathered a wide spectrum of participants including government representatives, military, communication experts, as well as academics from various nations and NATO members.
