NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence welcomed H.E. Raimonds Vējonis, the president of Latvia, on March 15. He was briefed on the recent developments in strategic communications and the flagship initiatives of the NATO StratCom COE. They discussed the importance of soft power at times when there is an ongoing focus to win hearts and minds. President noted:
"As in Latvia we have a Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence, we have to refine strategic communications capabilities in our daily work and be excellent in communication with our society. Centre's publications deepen our understanding about the current state of the information environment. It's work is internationally renowned and its expertiese highly appreciated."
