On 28th July, NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence and Ministry of Defence of Georgia signed a cooperation agreement. In accordance with mutual interests in areas identified and for the purpose of establishing a beneficial cooperation, NATO StratCom COE and Ministry of Defence of Georgia, represented by the Minister of Defence Tinatin Khidasheli, indicated their intent to exercise their best efforts to develop the following areas of cooperation in common fields of competence with particular focus on strategic communications: cooperation on research projects of mutual interest; strategic communications capacity building for the wider security sector through training, education and experience exchange; mutual participation in conferences, seminars, workshops and roundtable discussions and exchange of unclassified research results and unclassified information.
