We are honored to announce that NATO Strategic Communications Centre of Excellence is set to return to the Munich Security Conference 2026 to host a high-level roundtable discussion on the Next Generation Information Environment, bringing together senior decision-makers and leading experts for a focused strategic dialogue.

The roundtable will address the Next Generation Information Environment - a domain that is rapidly reshaping how power is exercised, contested, and defended. Drawing on the Centre’s extensive research, the discussion will examine how this environment is evolving, where democracies hold enduring advantages and face growing vulnerabilities, and which strategic capabilities will be decisive in the decade ahead.

As geopolitical competition increasingly plays out in the cognitive and informational space, understanding this environment is no longer optional. The Centre’s contribution to Munich Security Conference 2026 reflects its role as a trusted knowledge hub, supporting governments as they prepare for the security realities of the 2030s.
