Using specific scenario conditions, the method assists in creating a discussion on what capabilities are needed and how organisations can develop these capabilities based on available resources. The method involves conducting workshops using a red team versus blue team exercise which has been adapted to generate a gap analysis for countermeasures in countering IIO. The report provides guidance on preparing for a workshop aimed at identifying vulnerabilities in an organisation’s information environment and developing effective strategies to mitigate the consequences of IIO.
